On 14 September 2023, the Minister of Regional Development made an official visit to the Municipality of Deçan, where he was received by the Mayor, Mr. Bashkim Ramosaj.

The purpose of the visit was to see the final phase of the works on the Cultural Heritage facility. This project was financed by the Ministry of Regional Development in cooperation with the Municipality of Deçan.

The Ministry of Regional Development is committed to support similar and new capital projects devised by the municipalities, projects that will affect the regulation of infrastructure, creation of a better environment for all and socio-economic development in general.

Minister Fikrim Damka during the visit was accompanied by Mr. Besim Kambjeraj, Deputy Secretary General, Ercan Şilik, Advisor to the Minister, and Mr. Ylber Çitaku, Deputy Director of DRD.
