Today, on 06 October 2023, the Deputy Secretary General of the MRD, Mr. Besim Kamberaj, was received by the Director of the Directorate for Economic Development, Mr. Kastriot Shabani, with his associates.

Secretary Kamberaj and Director Shabani, after discussions in the premises of the Shtime Municipal Building, visited the sites of the projects "Regulation of the open market" in the city of Shtime and the project "Regulation of walking, cycling and public lighting paths on Ferizaj Street" project, both of which are co-financed by the Ministry of Regional Development.

Director Shabani and his colleagues informed the Secretary of the Ministry of Regional Development about the progress and difficulties they are facing in the project implementation phase so far, with special emphasis on the difficulties in the implementation of the "Regulation of the open market" project and the commitment for finding a solution.

As for the project "Regulation of walking paths, cycling and public lighting on Ferizaj Street", the works were in the finalization stage and based on the actual situation on the ground, the parties were satisfied with the whole process and the project in general.

Secretary Kamberaj appealed to the officials of the Municipality of Shtime to engage maximally in the finalization of the project "Regulation of the open market" also due to the fact that these projects have a direct impact on the life and well-being of the citizens of the Municipality of Shtime.

In this visit, the Secretary of the MRD, Mr. Besim Kamberaj, was accompanied by Mr. Ylber Çitaku, Deputy Director of the DRD.
