On 10 October 2023, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Regional Development, Mr. Besim Kamberaj, with his colleagues, was on a working visit to the Municipality of Viti.

Secretary Kamberaj, after monitoring the work at the workshop in the premises of the municipal building of Viti, was received by the Mayor of the Municipality, Mr. Sokol Haliti, with his associates. The topic of the meeting was the progress in the implementation of the project "Renovation of the Business Incubator" with special emphasis on the progress of the project implementation.

The Mayor, Mr. Haliti, thanked the Ministry of Regional Development for the willingness to help the Municipality of Viti with concrete projects. He said that the project "Renovation of the facility for Business Incubator" is a two (2) year project where the Ministry of Regional Development co-finances with EUR 390,000.00, which will have a direct impact on the socio-economic development of the Municipality of Viti in several spheres, such as education, business, culture, etc.

The Secretary of the MRD, Mr. Kamberaj, expressed the readiness of the MRD to help the municipalities, while requesting from the competent supervisory officials of the project to be maximally engaged so that the project is  completed according to the plans.

In this visit, the Secretary of the MRD, Mr. Besim Kamberaj, was accompanied by Mr. Ylber Çitaku, Director of the DRD, and Mr. Butrint Marmullaku, Project Development and Management Leader.
