From October 11 to 13, 2023, the Deputy Minister of MRD stayed in Tirana where he held a meeting with the Deputy Executive Director of the Albanian Development Fund. Mr. Arben Skenderi and Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development in the Republic of Albania, Mr. Enio Civici. He also participated as a panelist in the forum organized by the European University of Tirana on the topic "Regional cooperation in European Union projects.”

During the meetings, which took place during the visit to Tirana, Deputy Minister Tafarshiku emphasized the need for further development of good relations between the two countries. He also stated that cooperation and promotion of cooperation in the field of regional development between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania was of particular importance.

In the discussion panel at the European University of Tirana, Mr. Tafarshiku presented the objectives of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, initiatives, investments, measures and support to businesses undertaken in recent years.

During the meetings, the necessity of regional cooperation was emphasized in the design of joint projects, especially in cross-border regions, as the only possibility for sustainable socio-economic regional development for the Republic of Kosovo.
