On 16 October 2023, the regular meeting of the Internal Audit Committee (IAC) of the Ministry of Regional Development (MRD) was held.

The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Internal Audit Committee at the Ministry of Regional Development, Mr. Xhevat Sefaj.

The purpose of this meeting was: 1. Review of the nine-month report (9) for the year 2023 audited by DIA in the MRD; 2. Review of the audited three-month report for the year 2023 entitled “Planning and implementation of the budget in the Budget Division and Finance” (Department of Finance and General Services).

The head of the Division for Internal Audit in the Ministry of Regional Development, Mrs. Sabajete Kabashi, presented the reports on the implementation of internal audit activities for the period of the nine (9) months of 2023.

As a conclusion from this meeting, the MRD decided to treat with priority the recommendations that come from the reports of the Internal Audit Unit in the MRD.

The meeting was attended by: Mr. Fikrim Damka, Minister of MRD, Mr. Besim Kamberaj, Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Regional Development, Mrs. Sabajete Kabashi, Head of the Division for Internal Audit, Mr. Xhevat Sefaj, Chairman of the Internal Audit Committee, Mr. Zejnullah Gylderen, Member of IAC and Mr. Shaqir Haliti, Member of IAC.
