Today, on 25 October 2023, Mr. Besim Kamberaj, Acting Secretary General of the Ministry of Regional Development, was received by the Director of the Directorate for Public Services in the Municipality of Podujeva, Mr. Bahri Selimi, and his associates.

Secretary Kamberaj and Director Selimi visited the "Bus Station Construction" project implementation site in the city of Podujeva, a project co-financed by the Ministry of Regional Development.

Director Selimi and his colleagues informed the Secretary of the Ministry of Regional Development about the progress and difficulties they have faced in the implementation of this project so far, with special emphasis on the difficulties in moving the conductor, a process that has taken time and had additional costs for the Municipality of Podujeva and has consequently also caused a delay in the progress of the construction of the bus station.

Secretary Kamberaj requested from the officials of the Municipality of Podujeva to engage maximally in the intensification of the works in the construction of the bus station, so that the intended and planned will be realized by the end of the year.

The authorities of the Ministry of Regional Development and the Municipality of Podujeva were of the same opinion regarding this project, a project that will have a direct impact on the lives of the citizens and the EO that dealt with the transportation of passengers.

In this visit, the Secretary of MRD, Mr. Besim Kamberaj, was accompanied by Mr. Ylber Çitaku - Deputy Director of MRD and Mr. Hamit Krasniqi, Head of the Division for IT and Logistics in MRD.
