On 10 November 2023, in the premises of the Ministry of Regional Development, the first meeting was held between representatives of the MRD and representatives from Kosovo of the international organization "Leadership Development Association Europe" (LDA Europe).

The meeting discussed the possibilities of cooperation in relation to the organization of already well-known international conferences, such as the "LEAPin Conference" which is part of the international conference "LEAP Summit" with origins in Zagreb, Croatia and the "DREAMin Kosovo" Conference originating from San Francisco, California.

Mr. Qëndrim Hoxha, Executive Director (CEO) was accompanied by his colleague Mr. Fatlum Rexhaj, Project Manager at LDA Europe, and they revealed the idea of the possibilities of cooperation with MRD, while also inviting the MRD to participate in the conference held on 02 December 2023 in the Innovation and Training Park (ITP) in Prizren.

Mr. Ylber Çitaku, Deputy Director of the Department for Regional Development and Mrs. Gresa Gashi, Senior Officer for Coordination of Regional Initiatives, thanked the representatives of LDAE for the offer regarding the possible cooperation and the invitation to the conference, as well as informed the guests about the work being done in the MRD regarding the implementation of planned tasks focusing on the topic for which the meeting was arranged for the development and coordination of regional initiatives.

At the end of the meeting, the guests were promised that both elements, the possibility of cooperation and the invitation to the conference, will be dealt with by the highest officials of the Ministry of Regional Development, who will in time announce the joint journey in this initiative and the representation of MRD at the conference.
