Today, on 16 November 2023, the Minister of Regional Development, Mr. Fikrim Damka, participated in the 14th Bosphorus Summit organized by the International Cooperation Platform (UİP-ICP) in the Republic of Turkey, with the theme "Welcome the next century - challenges and expectations".
Minister Damka had two speeches on "Welcoming the next century - challenges and expectations" and "Access to Global Markets and Trade Areas".
In his introductory speech, Minister Damka emphasized that: "Establishing dialogue with each other, focusing on common goals and mutual understanding, as well as joint efforts to solve global problems can help create a more balanced and stable climate. What should also be emphasized in this context is cooperation, dialogue and sustainable solutions between countries.”
The Minister, in the speech of the panel titled "Access to Global Markets and Trade Zones", emphasized that: "We have entered a new world order shaped by economic wars. The biggest factor of this new world economic order is internet and digitization. On the one hand, our successful companies are opening up to the world and globalization. While we expect our local products to become preferred products in world markets, we are also trying to make our markets attractive to investors."
The 14th Bosphorus Summit, which included 53 speakers and participants from many countries around the world in the fields of business, politics and culture, assessed global challenges. The summit aims to create a positive impact on public and private organizations, the business world and other segments of society. It provides a platform that brings together leaders, decision makers, academics and individuals from all professions, creating opportunities for collaboration and motivating them.
