The Ministry of Regional Development held from December 01 to 03 2023, the workshop with the aim of presenting the achievements and challenges for 2023 as well as drafting the internal Work Plan 2024.

First of all, the Minister Mr. Fikrim Damka thanked all the employees of the Ministry for the high cooperation and commitment during 2023. The MRD has achieved this result thanks to the good cooperation of the MRD staff. During the period of 2023 there will be positive evaluations from various organizations regarding the performance and transparency of the Ministry.

The workshop had a busy agendy divided into four (4) sessions, the first of which presented achievements and challenges in the fulfillment of the 2023 work plan.

The second session (2) continued the work with presentations from all departments and special divisions of the MRD: Completion of DRD projects, completion of DPASER analyzes and reports, completion of DEIPC processes, audit reports, procurement reports, Division for Public Communication as well as the implementation of the legislative agenda and legal activities in the MRD by the Legal Department. The session also reported on the administration of documents and administrative processes in the Ministry of Regional Development (MRD) and budget reports, personnel reports and the presentation of the Draft Work Plan for 2024 according to the NDP (DEIPC).

The third session (3) continued the work with the presentation of the draft Regulation on establishment, organization and monitoring of Centers for regional development in developing regions and the presentation of the draft Regulation for the management of the Balanced Regional Development Program of the Ministry responsible for regional development.

In the fourth session (4), the conclusions and recommendations made during the workshop were discussed and examined in detail, as well as their finalization and implementation according to priorities and deadlines. The workshop was concluded with the general conclusions drawn by Mr. Besim Kamberaj, Deputy Secretary General of the MRD.

The workshop was attended by Minister Mr. Fikrim Damka, Mr. Ali Tafarshiku, Deputy Minister, Mr. Besim Kamberaj, Acting Secretary General, Advisors to the Minister of MRD, Directors of Departments, Leaders of Special Divisions, Leaders of Divisions and other officials of the Ministry.
