On 04 December 2024, the Minister of Regional Development, Mr. Fikrim Damka took part in the Kosovo-Turkey Trade and Investment Forum in Klan Arena, where 70 businessmen with 15 different activities from Turkey were present, where they will hold bilateral meetings between Turkish and Kosovar businessmen.
In the speech held at the opening of the Forum, Minister Damka informed the representatives of Turkish businesses about the economic situation in the country, with special emphasis on the environment for doing business in Kosovo and the reforms undertaken by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to create more favorable conditions for the development of the private sector.
The purpose of the forum was to promote investments in the Republic of Kosovo. During this forum, a discussion panel was also organized between representatives from the institutions of both countries.
In this forum, in addition to representatives of companies from the private sector of both countries, the Deputy Prime Minister for Minority Affairs and Human Rights Emilija Redžepi, the Deputy Minister of Economy Getoar Mjeku, the Ambassador of Turkey to Kosovo, Sabri Tunc Angılı, the Chairman of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, Lulzim Rafuna, as well as some of the representatives of the state institutions of Turkey.
