Today, on 24.01.2024, the Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Mr. Ali Tafarshiku, made an official visit to Tropoja, where he was received by the mayor of the Municipality, Mr. Rexhë Byberi.

During the meeting, Mr. Tafarshiku and Mr. Byberi discussed the cooperation between the two parties, specifically the implementation of the "Common Market" project that will be built in Gjakova, as well as the projects of the Municipality of Tropoja for the road infrastructure connecting Tropoja with Koshare and the road project Qaf Prush-Krumë-Tropojë of 19 km.

The Mayor, Mr. Byberi, also informed the deputy minister, Mr. Tafarshiku, of the tourism potential in Tropoja, Markgegaj, Bujan, Lekbibaj, Fierzë, Llugaj and Bytyç, and they agreed on cooperation between the two countries and the areas in which we intend to strengthen cooperation for the implementation of cross-border projects in order to advance balanced regional socio-economic development
