Today, on 7February 2024, a cooperation meeting was held between the two institutions: MRD and UASF, at the MRD premises.

The purpose of the meeting was to coordinate and advance cooperation between MRD and UASF regarding the SPSS system created according to the seven development regions for data collection and analytical processing for the purpose of drafting socio-economic regional analyses.

Both institutions pledged to continue cooperation until the finalization and full SPSS implementation. This system is expected to contribute to balanced regional development as an adequate system for evaluating regional performance.

The meeting was attended by Mrs. Fakije Zejnullahu, Assoc. Prof. Dr. - Vice-Rector for Digitalization, Innovation and Information Technology (UASF), Mr. Bashkim Çerkini, Assoc. Prof. Dr. - Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics (UASF), Mr. Besim Kamberaj - Deputy Secretary General at MRD, Mrs. Shyhrete Kastrati - Director of DRSEPA, Mrs. Fatmire Thaçi - Head of the Socio-Economic Regional Performance Division, and Mr. Xhevat Sefaj - Socio-Economic Development Officer at DRSEPA.
