Today, on 13.02.2024, the Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Mr. Ali Tafarshiku, made an official visit to the Municipality of Plava in Montenegro, where he was hosted by the mayor of this Municipality, Mr. Nihad Canoviq and his associates.

During this meeting, Mr. Tafarshiku and Mr. Canoviq discussed the cooperation of the two parties and the common development ideas, the creation of opportunities in order to develop balanced regional socio-economic advancement between Kosovo and Montenegro.

During the meeting, the Deputy Minister Mr. Tafarshiku and the Mayor Mr. Canoviq talked about regional socio-economic development in terms of joint projects of infrastructure, free movement, tourism and culture, and also the Mayor of Plava was closely informed about the objectives of the Ministry of Regional Development, the development of socio-economic programs with the countries of the region and cross-border cooperation opportunities.

During his official stay in the Republic of Montenegro, Deputy Minister Mr. Tafarshiku was accompanied by Mr. Sokol Luta - Director of RDA West.
