On 17 April 2024, the second day of the conference “Getting creative about regional development” organized by the Ministry of Regional Development (MRD) in partnership with UN-Habitat Kosovo, supported by the Embassy of Sweden, took place.

The second day of the conference was carried out on the ground according to the agenda, where the participants directly visited the businesses that were beneficiaries of the MRD public calls and that have achieved success through unique business models and innovative practices for a regional socio-economic development.

The conference was successfully concluded and aimed to raise the understanding and cooperation regarding regional development to a higher level.

These activities were carried out with the aim of bringing together important participants and identifying ideas for cooperation in promoting and advancing policies for regional development, research, strategic and intelligent investments, development of workforce skills and capacities for innovation.

The Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Mr. Ali Tafarshiku, thanked the Swedish Embassy in Kosovo and the UN Habitat for the partnership and cooperation so far, showing the readiness of the MRD for the development of new initiatives that favor the development of businesses and capital projects leading to improvement of the socio-economic situation in Kosovo.
