Today, on 22 April 2024, the Deputy Ministers of the Ministry of Regional Development Mr Ali Tafarshiku and Mr Eldin Uglari together with other representatives of the Ministry visited "Haxhi Zeka" University in Peja. They were hosted in a meeting by the management of UHZ led by the Rector, prof. dr. Armand Krasniqi.

Deputy Minister Mr Tafarshiku expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Culture and the University "Haxhi Zeka" and appreciated the University's efforts for commitment to regional development.

Mr Tafarshiku also appreciated the concrete steps of cooperation in the field of entrepreneurship, agrotourism and tourism that the University took responsibility of. Moreover, the attendees were also greeted by the Deputy Minister Mr Uglari.

The Rector, Mr Krasniqi, thanked the MRD for cooperation and informed about the projects in the efforts that "Haxhi Zeka" University is making in fulfilling its third mission and contribution to society. Rector Mr Krasniqi also emphasized the importance of cooperation between the MRD and all line ministries with the Universities to better serve the community of the Dukagjin Region.

Following, the visit and meeting with the students and staff of UHZ took place, as well as informative and consultative activities with all interested parties regarding the call of the MRD to support new and existing business ideas.

The representatives of the Ministry also participated in the ceremony organized by the Faculty of Agribusiness and the Faculty of Management in Tourism, Hospitality and Environment on the occasion of "Earth Day".
