Within the YENI project co-financed by the Ministry of Regional Development and the Caritas Switzerland Office in Kosovo, the Impact of Youth on Environment. On 25.04.2024, the Eco Club of the Vocational High School "Kujtim Krasniqi" in Malisheva, in cooperation with the implementing partner "Ec ma Ndryshe", has developed and realized the beneficial environmental project of the competition for the first place award "Dervish Rozhaja" 2023.
The purpose of this activity was to inaugurate the implementation of the beneficial environmental project of the first place "Dervish Rozhaja" 2023 of the Eco club of the vocational high school "Kujtim Krasniqi" in Malisheva, and to promote the investments completed within the project, financed by the Ministry of Regional Development and Caritas Switzerland, Office in Kosovo.
As a result of this prize won, the Competence Center in Malisheva, namely the Vocational High School "Kujtim Krasniqi", has been equipped with solar panels with a capacity of 10 KW and batteries. These investments will affect the supply of clean energy to the school, the reduction of energy costs and carbon suppression, as well as the regular delivery of lessons during frequent power outages at the school.
On that occasion, the facilitation and presentation of the project was done by the students of the Eco Club of the school in cooperation with the professor - the project implementation coordinator, Mr. Hamit Hazrolli, and the ceremony was attended by the students and teachers of the school, the representative of MRD, Shani Hamitaga, representatives of the YENI project from the Caritas Switzerland, representatives of the Directorate of Education and Urbanism of the Municipality, representatives of the NGO "Ec ma Ndryshe", as well as the Members of the Evaluation Committee of the beneficial environment projects of the competition for the prize first award "Dervish Rozhaja" 2023; Prof: Isa Elezaj and Prof; Sami Behrami.
