In the framework of the YENI project co-financed by the Ministry of Regional Development and the Caritas Switzerland office in Kosovo, the Impact of Youth on Environment. On 26/04/2024, Eco Clubs of Secondary Schools "Zenel Hajdini" and "Mehmet Isai" in Gjilan in cooperation with the implementing partner CEDE have developed and implemented the environmental projects.
The purpose of this activity was to inaugurate the implementation of the projects of the Eco Clubs of the "Zenel Hajdini" and "Mehmet Isai" high schools in Gjilan and to promote the completed investments within the project - The Impact of Youth on Environment.
Since the schools were located close to each other, the inauguration was organized jointly and on that occasion, Eco Club students facilitated and presented the project, and the attendees were greeted by the following speakers: Principals of host schools; MRD representative Mr. Shani Hamitaga; The Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Gjilan, Mrs. Leonora Morina Bunjaku; Director of the Directorate for Education and Culture from the Municipality of Gjilan, Mrs. Albana Demiri; The manager of the YENI project from Caritas Switzerland, Mr. Bardh Xerxa; as well as the Representative of the NGO "CEDE", Arben Veliu.
