Today, on 16.05.2024, Minister Damka held a meeting at the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey in Ankara, where he was accompanied by the Chairman of the Kosovo-Turkey Interparliamentary Friendship Group, MP Enis Kervan.

In the meeting held in a friendly atmosphere, the steps to be taken in the field of trade between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Turkey were discussed. It was emphasized that trade between the two countries has increased with the entry into force of the free trade agreement, as well as the drafting of a roadmap to be followed to increase Kosovo's exports to Turkey, which would be mutually beneficial.

The main topics of the meeting were:

· Close relations between the two countries,

· Developing cooperation with the Ministry of Regional Development, including training, seminars, joint projects, techno-parks and scientific-technological innovations. The Ministry of Industry is ready to support,

· Development of cooperation in the field of defence,

· Increasing support in the field of education for courses such as robotic coding and artificial intelligence,

· Transferring the experiences of the Ministry of Industry related to regional development in Kosovo, Bringing students from Kosovo to Techno Fest.
