The Minister of Regional Development Mr. Fikrim Damka is making an official visit to Switzerland with his colleagues, today on 28.05.2024 and he was received in Lucerne by the Director of Swiss Caritas Mr. Peter Lack where they discussed the hitherto cooperation in the two projects MARDI and YENI as well as the possibilities of cooperation in the future.

The meeting continued with officials of the Young Caritas organization Mr. Reto Schefer and Mrs. Lena Baumann where the projects and activities carried out for young people in Switzerland were presented.

The next meeting was with Mr. Afrim Balija from the ANB Baliu company and LAVISA beneficiary of the scheme from the MARDI project related to the diaspora investment project.

The Minister was accompanied by the Acting General Secretary of Mr. Besim Kamberaj, Ms. Refike Sulçevsi, Director of the Department for European Integration and Policy Coordination, Mr. Ylber Çitaku Acting Director of the Department for Regional Development and advisor to the Minister Mr. Ercan Silik.
