Today, on 19.06.2024, the Minister of Regional Development Mr. Fikrim Damka and the Mayor of Podujeva Municipality Mr. Shpejtim Bulliqi inaugurated the Bus Station in Podujeva, a project co-financed by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports which covers the total value of the project of 1,165,575.46 Euros, during the years 2022-2024, the Ministry of Education and Culture co-financed this project in the amount of 609,699.12 Euros, while the rest was financed by the Municipality.

The Minister emphasized that this project will affect the improvement of local, regional and international transport and marks a big step forward in the advancement of our public infrastructure. With this project, we are laying a solid foundation for the future. This bus station will be a key point in our public transport network and a clear example of what can be achieved through cooperation and commitment.

The government is always close to the citizens where the need is the most. We, as the Minister of Regional Development, aim to equally support projects throughout the Republic of Kosovo that facilitate and help the lives of citizens.

Finally, let me thank the President Mr. Shpejtim Bulliqi for the cooperation , as well as expressed readiness for even wider cooperation during the following years.

The Minister thanks all those who have contributed to the realization of this project - from the planners and designers, to the workers and the local community that has supported this initiative.
