On 10.07.2024, the regular meeting of the Internal Audit Committee (IAC) of the Ministry of Regional Development (MRD) was held.

The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Internal Audit Committee at the Ministry of Education and Culture, Mr. Xhevat Sefaj.

Minister Mr. Damka emphasized his commitment and the staff of the MRD for a good performance of the MRD, which has also resulted in a positive report from the National Audit Office.

The purpose of this meeting was: 1 Review of the annual report of the NAO for MRD for the year 2023, and 2. Review of the six-monthly report of the IAU in the MRD for the year 2024.

Acting the Secretary General in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mr. Besim Kamberaj declares that MRD prioritizes the recommendations coming from the NAO, according to the legal deadlines it has prepared the Action Plan for the implementation of the recommendations and all the recommendations will be addressed in time, where he emphasized that the recommendations are of a technical nature and there is no material damage.

The head of the Internal Audit Unit at the Ministry of Education and Culture , Mrs. Sabajete Kabashi presents the six-monthly report of IAU for the year 2024 and the report entitled Management of IT and Logistics Services.

As a conclusion from this meeting, the MRD decided to prioritize the recommendations that emerge from the reports of the Office National Audit Office and the Internal Audit Unit in the Ministry of Education and Culture.
