MRD holds the workshop “ Implementation of the work plan and challenges of MRD for 2024”

The Ministry of Regional Development, on 19.07.2024, held a one-day workshop with the aim of presenting the “ Implementation of the work plan and challenges of the MRD for the year 2024”. The workshop was attended by Minister Mr. Fikrim Damka, Mr. Eldin Uglari - Deputy Minister , Mr. Besim Kamberaj - Secretary General, political advisors of the Minister as well as directors of departments, heads of divisions and special units and officials of the Ministry of Education and Culture.

First of all, Minister Mr. Fikrim Damka thanked all the employees of the Ministry for their cooperation and high commitment. The minister emphasized that we have managed to launch the calls launched by the MRD for the three programs, a series of documents and analyzes have been completed that create a solid documentation for the field of regional development.

Minister Mr. Damka also pointed out the importance of the work done so far and the challenges that remain to be faced in the future. He emphasized that the fulfillment of the work plan for 2024 will require a joint commitment and close cooperation between all departments and divisions of the Ministry. At the end of his speech, Minister Mr. Damka expressed his belief that with the dedication and cooperation of all the staff, the MRD will be able to achieve its objectives and contribute significantly to the development and progress of regions across the country.

The workshop in question was carried out on the basis of a busy agenda divided into two (2) Sessions, where in the first session, according to the agenda, the presentation of achievements and challenges in fulfilling the six-month work plan of 2024, presentation this was realized by Mr. Besim Kamberaj - Deputy Secretary General of MRD.

In the second session of the workshop, presentations were made on the achievements and challenges of fulfilling the 2024 work plan by all departments and special divisions of the MRD.

MRD and the next steps for 2024 were discussed, as well as the recommendations and steps that should be taken in the future.
