Within the framework of the official visit to Hungary, the Minister of MRD, Mr Fikrim Damka, met his counterpart in Hungary, the Minister of Public Administration and Regional Development, Mr Tibor Navracsics. During the meeting, they discussed the possibility of cooperation and exchange of experiences. Minister Damka explained the completion of the legal framework for Regional Development, the implementation of strategic programs and documents, and he expressed his readiness for a cooperation agreement.
Minister Navracsics thanked the Minister for the visit and explained the ministry's work, projects and programs as well as the efforts for balanced regional development because there is a big difference between the capital city and other developing regions. He also expressed his readiness for cooperation in the field of regional development and for a cooperation agreement for the exchange of experiences.
Minister Damka invited Minister Mr Tibor Navracsics to visit Kosovo for concretization of the agreement.
Minister Mr Damka was accompanied by the Ambassador of Kosovo in Hungary Mr Delfin Pllana, Secretary General Mr Besim Kamberaj, as well as advisers from the cabinet, and embassy diplomats.
