As part of the official visit to Hungary, the Minister of MRD, Mr Fikrim Damka, visited the municipality of Kecskemet in Hungary, where he was received by the Deputy Mayor of the municipality, Ms Jakabné Engert. They discussed the possibilities of cooperation with the municipalities of Kosovo and twinning agreements. The deputy mayor of the municipality, Mrs Jakabné Engert informed the minister about the work of the municipality, the projects and the challenges they face, and they then visited an EU-funded project, specifically the Center for Child and Family Welfare, where they were welcomed by the staff of this center.
Minister Damka thanked them for the reception and promised to communicate with the municipalities in Kosovo to arrange cooperation agreements between the municipalities.
Afterwards, Minister Damka visited a business of our expatriate in this municipality owned by Mr Xhavit Çoçaj.
Minister Damka was accompanied by the Ambassador of Kosovo in Hungary Mr Delfin Pllana, Secretary General Mr Besim Kamberaj, as well as advisers from the cabinet and embassy diplomats.
