Within the framework of the official visit to Turkey, the Minister of Regional Development Mr. Fikrim Damka, attended the 2nd meeting of Balkantürksiad (Industry and Business Association of the Balkans Rumeli) which was held on 17.10.2024 and brought together important personalities of the business world from Turkey and the Balkans creating a strategic platform for deepening economic cooperation and strengthening trade relations between the region.
Minister Damka highlighted the importance of regional economic cooperation, underlining that this type of dialogue between business communities and government institutions will bring mutual benefits, especially in areas such as infrastructure, technology and strategic investments. He also emphasized that the strengthening of trade ties and joint projects will contribute not only to the economic development of the region, but also to its long-term stability.
This activity also served to lay the foundations of new projects that will strengthen economic ties between Turkey and the Balkan countries, creating new opportunities for investment and sustainable development.
