On 18.10.2024, the Minister of Regional Development, Mr. Fikrim Damka held an important meeting with the Turkish Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Yasin Erkoç, as part of his official visit to Turkey.

During the meeting, in-depth discussions were held on how to improve health services in Kosovo and on the importance of implementing new collaborative projects that will bring mutual benefits. Dr. Yasin Erkoç underlined Turkey's willingness to support such projects, improving medical technology and training health staff.

Minister Damka expressed gratitude for Turkey's support provided so far in the health sector and stressed the need to advance cooperation in concrete projects that will increase the quality of health services in Kosovo. He added that this cooperation is not only a technical issue, but also a key factor for improving the general well-being of citizens and strengthening relations between the two countries.

In this visit, Minister Damka was accompanied by the Mayor of Mamusha, Mr. Abdülhadi Krasniç, and his adviser, Mr. Muaz Kazazi.
