On October 21, 2024, the Minister of Regional Development Mr. Fikrim Damka welcomed in an official meeting the Deputy of TIKA (Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency) Mr. Mahmut Çevik.
The meeting discussed the current and future investments of TIKA in the country, as well as the possibilities for deepening the cooperation between Kosovo and Turkey in various fields of regional development.
Minister Damka appreciated TIKA's support in key projects that help improve the infrastructure and quality of life in the region, while Mr. Çevik confirmed the commitment to continue the strategic partnership for the benefit of sustainable socio-economic development.
Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Mr. Ali Tafarshiku visited the municipality of Klina
On October 23, 2024, the Deputy Minister of Regional Development Mr. Ali Tafarshiku, closely visited the works being developed at the entrance of Klina, where investments are being made in sidewalks, cycle paths, green spaces, public lighting, as well as the expansion of the road and underground infrastructure.
The Ministry of Regional Development and the municipality of Klina are co-financing the capital project "Regulation of the sidewalk and bicycle path with accompanying infrastructure from the city of Klina to the Peja-Prishtina crossroads, phase II".
During the visit Mr. Tafarshiku was informed about the progress of the works and expressed his satisfaction with the high quality and increased intensity of the works.
This important investment aims to improve the infrastructure and quality of life for the citizens of Klina, bringing long-term benefits to the local community.
