The Ministry of Regional Development (MRD) in cooperation with the Swiss Caritas inaugurated the environmental project of the Vocational High School "Bahri Haxha" in Vushtrri, winner of the competition for the first place prize "Dervish Rozhaja" 2024, within the YENI project co-financed by the Ministry of Regional Development and the Swiss Caritas Office in Kosovo, the Impact of Youth on the Environment. On 19.10.2024, the Eco Club of Vocational High School "Bahri Haxha" in Vushtrri, in cooperation with the implementing partner "CEDE" has developed and realized the beneficial environmental project of the competition for the first place prize "Dervish Rozhaja" 2024.

The purpose of this activity was to inaugurate the implementation of the environmental benefit project of the first place "Dervish Rozhaja" 2024 of the Eco club of the vocational high school "Bahri Haxha" in Vushtrri and to promote the investments completed within the project, financed by Swiss Ministry of Regional Development and Caritas, Office in Kosovo.

As a result of this prize won, the Vocational High School "Bahri Haxha" in Vushtrri has been equipped with 15 efficient air conditioners which will replace the heating with fuel in annex A of the school building.

On this occasion, the students of the Eco Club of the school moderated and presented the project. Apart from the students and teachers of the school, the ceremony was also attended by MDR representatives, representatives of the YENI project from Swiss Caritas, the representative of the Education Directorate of the Municipality of Vushtrri, a representative of the "CEDE" NGO, as well as the Member of the Project Evaluation Committee for the "Dervish Rozhaja" 2024 award, Prof. Isa Elezaj.
