On October 28, 2024, Deputy Minister of Regional Development Mr. Ali Tafarshiku held a series of meetings in the municipalities of Mitrovica and Zubin Potok to support important projects in the fields of sports, tourism, and socio-economic development.

In Mitrovica, the Deputy Minister was briefed on the investment in the renovation of the "Omni Sport" Multifunctional Sports Center, a project supported by the Ministry of Regional Development (MRD) and the municipality of Mitrovica. During the meeting with the Director of Economic Development and Tourism, Mr. Elvis Feka, the Deputy Minister, on behalf of MRD, expressed readiness to continue cooperation in the future for the implementation of other projects.

After the meeting in Mitrovica, the Deputy Minister traveled to Zubin Potok, where he met with the Mayor of the Municipality, Mr. Izmir Zeqiri, and other municipal representatives. During the meeting, he introduced the annual call for capital investment applications that the Ministry of Regional Development opens for municipalities. They discussed the investment priorities for the residents of this municipality.
