Today, on October 4, 2024, the Ministry of Regional Development in cooperation with TAIEX are conducting the first day of the joint workshop with international experts from Croatia and Poland.
The first day of workshop was opened by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Regional Development, Mr. Besim Kamberaj, who highlighted the importance of capacity development and project management to improve the effectiveness of regional investments and sustainable economic growth.
The purpose of the workshop was to develop strategies for improving skills in project management and building internal capacities in the MRD.
On the first day of the workshop, participants were introduced to current project management practices, skills and training needs assessment. Further, presentations were delivered from Mr. Tomislav Belovari, expert from Croatia, Mrs. Bożena Pietras-Goc, expert from Poland, Mr. Ylber Çitaku, Director of DRD, Mrs. Refike Sulejvsi, Director of DEIPC, Mrs. Jeta Nushi, Head of Division for Project Development and Management, and Mr. Sokol Luta, Director of RDA West.
The workshop addressed current challenges and identification of fields requiring skills development to improve project efficiency.
The workshop aims to strengthen the professional capacities of the participants in effective project management, and build a platform for the exchange of international experiences, best practices, and case studies from Croatia and Poland.
The workshop on "Technical Assistance for the Development of Joint Projects" was concluded according to the agenda of the first day to continue tomorrow.
