On December 12, 2024, the Minister of Regional Development, Fikrim Damka, met with the Deputy Mayor of Gaziantep Municipality, Ms. Zehra Ünal, and the Dean of the Faculty of Tourism at Gaziantep University, Prof. Dr. Erdal Bay. The meeting focused on developing friendly relations between the two countries and enhancing mutual cooperation.

During the meeting, various topics were discussed, including regional development, education and social projects. Ms. Zehra Ünal shared Gaziantep's experiences in social projects and emphasized that these projects could provide applicable models in Kosovo. Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Erdal Bay stressed the importance of academic cooperation and shared his ideas on developing joint projects, especially in the field of education.
