On January 23, 2025, the Ministry of Regional Development, in collaboration with the Ministry of Local Government Administration, held its next meeting to draft the initiative documents for the establishment of Regional Development Centers. These centers are legal obligations under Articles 16 and 17 of the Law No. 08/L-190 on Balanced Regional Development.

During the meeting, all participants made valuable contributions to ensure that the documents were as comprehensive as possible, considering the role and importance of these centers in the future.

The meeting was attended by the Secretary General of the Regional Development Agency, Mr. Besim Kamberaj, the Director of the Regional Development Department, Mr. Ylber Çitaku, the Head of the Legal Division at the MLGA, Mr. Xhevat Tafa, the Head of the Legal Division, Ms. Shkëndije Dinaj, the Executive Directors of the five RDAs, and other representatives from the Ministry of Regional Development.
