On 25.02.2025, the conference was opened with a keynote speech by Prof. Dr. Uğur Ünal, Rector of GAZI University, where he emphasized the importance of cooperation by drawing attention to the cooperation between Kosovo and Turkey. Then, Mr. Agon Vrenezi, Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in Ankara, took the floor and thanked the University administration for organizing this conference event, emphasizing that the Republic of Turkey is one of the most important supporters of Kosovo’s independence.

Dr. Besim Kamberaj, Dr. Refike Sülçevsi, was part of the panel chaired by Prof. Dr. Bülent Aksoy. Prof. Dr. Fatmir Sejdiu, former President of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as Prof. Dr. Jusuf Osmani and Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Berisha.

During their stay in Ankara on 24-27.02.2025, RDM officials also visited and held meetings in several state institutions such as TIKA, with which RDM has a cooperation agreement, several faculties at GAZI University, the department for international cooperation at GAZI University, the Turkish Language Center (TOMER), as well as several cultural heritage monuments.
