On 14 May 2025, the Acting Minister of Regional Development, Mr. Fikrim Damka, conducted a visit to the Municipality of Podujeva, where he was received by the Mayor, Mr.  Shpejtim Bulliqi.

The purpose of the visit was to discuss the joint project “The City Green Market”, a project being implemented in cooperation with the MRD and the Municipality of Podujeva, aiming to improve conditions for traders and the citizens of Podujeva.

The parties discussed the pace of the works, the challenges encountered during the project implementation and the next steps toward its completion as planned. During the meeting, they also discussed future joint projects, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and further supporting the Municipality of Podujeva by the MRD.

Following the meeting, Minister Fikrim Damka, Mayor Shpejtim Bulliqi, along with Deputy Minister Elldin Uglari, the Secretary General of the MRD, Dr. Besim Kamberaj, the Director of DRDPC, Mr. Ylber Çitaku, as well as other associates, carried out a field visit to the “City Green Market” project. During the visit, they were briefed on-site about the progress of the works and the developments achieved so far in the project.
