Today, on 20 May 2025, the Acting Minister of Regional Development, Mr. Fikrim Damka, conducted a working visit to the Bus Station in Mitrovica.

The Minister was received by Mr. Esat Jusufi – Chief Executive Officer of the Bus Station in Mitrovica and Mr. Elvis Feka – Director for Economic Development in the Municipality of Mitrovica.

During the meeting, they discussed the current state of the station's infrastructure, the challenges it faces and the need for renovation and modernization, with a particular focus on improving conditions for citizens and increasing service efficiency.

The parties recognized the importance of this facility for local and regional economic development, as well as for facilitating interurban movement of people and goods.

Minister Damka emphasized the Ministry of Regional Development’s commitment to supporting such projects that have a direct impact on improving infrastructure and quality of life at the local level.

Minister Damka was accompanied during the visit by Deputy Minister Elldin Uglari, Secretary General of the MRD, Dr. Besim Kamberaj, and Director of DRDPC, Mr. Ylber Çitaku.
