Today, on 26 May 2025, the Caretaker Minister of Regional Development, Mr. Fikrim Damka, conducted a working visit to the Municipality of Shtime, where he was received by the Mayor, Mr. Qemajl Aliu.

The purpose of the visit was to discuss the joint project “Construction of the Open Market in the City of Shtime – Phase III”, which is being implemented in cooperation between the MRD and the Municipality of Shtime, aiming to improve the conditions for traders and citizens of this municipality.

Following the meeting, Minister Damka and Mayor Aliu visited the site where construction works for the Open Market – Phase III are underway, where they were briefed on the progress and current status of the project.

During the visit, Minister Fikrim Damka was accompanied by Deputy Minister Mr.  Elldin Uglari, the Director of DRDPC, Mr. Ylber Çitaku and other associates from the MRD.
