On 4 June 2025, the Caretaker Minister of Regional Development, Mr. Fikrim Damka, received in a meeting the Mayor of Zubin Potok, Mr. Izmir Zeqiri.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the joint project “The Promenade and Recreational Park at the Zubin Potok Lake – A Space for Leisure, Tourism, and Community”, which is being implemented in cooperation with the MRD and the Municipality of Zubin Potok. This project is designed as a multifunctional space to serve citizens through cultural activities and the development of local tourism.

The meeting focused on exploring opportunities to deepen cooperation between the Ministry and the Municipality of Zubin Potok, with particular emphasis on development projects aimed at improving local infrastructure and enhancing the quality of life for the residents of the municipality. Additionally, the parties discussed challenges encountered in the implementation of existing projects and the next steps to be undertaken to ensure their successful implementation.
