The Ministry of Regional Development participated in the International Conference on the topic: “Cooperative Action, Shared Knowledge Towards Greater Impact,” held on 5 and 6 June 2025 in Arnhem, the Netherlands. The event was organized by the Interreg Europe Programme through the Interact project.

The MRD was represented by Mr. Arbnor Sadiku, Head of the Division for European Integrations and Mr. Hashim Ibishi, Regional Development Coordination Officer

The conference focused on cross-sectoral and complex topics, emphasizing the importance of dialogue, knowledge exchange and coordination of financial resources across various projects. Discussions highlighted the necessity to harmonize financing and create synergies among different stakeholders at macro-regional and trans-regional levels.

In conclusion, the conference underscored that regional, transnational and cross-border cooperation represents an essential path to be followed by all participating countries in the Interact and Interreg Europe programmes.
