In the framework of strengthening cooperation and coordination of activities for balanced regional development, Ms. Kreshnike Arifi - Head of the Regional Development Coordination Division, visited the premises of the Regional Development Agency West (RDA West) where she was received by Mr. Sokol Luta, Director of RDA West.

During the meeting, the main topics related to the activities and current work of RDA West were discussed, including the re-functionalization of cooperation with the European Union Office, as well as preparations for the establishment and reformation of the Regional Development Agency into a Regional Development Center (RDC).

A special focus was devoted to the promotion of the public calls of the Ministry of Regional Development (MRD), with particular emphasis on the call for Sub-Measure 2.1, which aims at financial support for craft activities.

Also, the meeting addressed other issues related to regional development and inter-institutional coordination for the implementation of projects with wide impact in the West and South-West region.

Participants in the meeting were Mr. Sokol Luta, Director of RDA West and Ms. Hana Pula, Project Coordinator, while from the MRD was Ms. Kreshnike Arifi, Head of the Regional Development Coordination Division.
