Tirana, June 26, 2025 — A delegation from the Ministry of Regional Development of the Republic of Kosovo paid an official visit to the premises of the Albanian Development Fund in Tirana, with the aim of strengthening inter-institutional cooperation and exchanging experiences in the field of regional development and strategic investments.

The MRD delegation was headed by Deputy Minister Mr. Elldin Uglari and consisted of Ms. Arta Ahmeti-Xhylani, Director of the Department for General Services, Ms. Kreshnike Arifi, Head of the Division for Coordination of Regional Development, and Ms. Gresa Gashi, Senior Officer for Regional Initiatives.

During the meeting with the representatives of the Albanian Development Fund, the models of planning and financing of development projects were discussed, as well as the successful practices of implementing policies for sustainable and inclusive development. The parties shared concrete experiences on the challenges and opportunities for the implementation of projects at the local level, emphasizing the importance of cooperation and balanced regional development. The visit was assessed as an important step towards expanding cooperation between the two homologous institutions, with the aim of creating sustainable bridges of cooperation and promoting joint projects that contribute to the socio-economic development of both countries.
