Today, on July 1, 2025, the Acting Minister of Regional Development Mr. Fikrim Damka, together with the Rector of “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica, Prof. Dr. Nurten Deva, signed the Cooperation Agreement with the aim of expanding cooperation between the two institutions and defining the cooperation framework in order to promote balanced socio-economic regional development in Kosovo.

This Memorandum of Cooperation aims to promote sustainable and balanced socio-economic growth in the regions of Kosovo, in accordance with the priorities of the Ministry of Regional Development and “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica.

The parties also agreed to coordinate joint activities in the field of regional development, through the implementation of projects, trainings, working groups, scientific research, seminars, workshops and joint study visits.

Minister Damka was accompanied by Dr. Besim Kamberaj - Secretary General, Ms. Refike Sulcevsi - Director of the Department for European Integration, as well as other representatives of the Ministry.
