As part of the commitments to strengthen institutional partnership and advance policies for sustainable regional development, Mrs. Kreshnike Arifi, Head of the Regional Coordination Division at the Ministry of Regional Development, made a working visit to the Regional Development Agency Center (RDA Center), where she was received by Mrs. Mimoza Tafashiku, Director of this agency.
During the meeting, the latest developments at the regional level were reviewed, as well as the strategic initiatives undertaken by the RDA Center, including concrete steps towards the transformation of current agencies into Regional Development Centers (RDCs), according to the new institutional framework.
An important part of the discussion was dedicated to the promotion of the open public call by the Ministry of Regional Development, with particular emphasis on the call for Sub-Measure 2.1, which aims to economically empower micro and small enterprises in underdeveloped areas.
The meeting also discussed opportunities for intensifying inter-institutional cooperation and the active involvement of local stakeholders in the implementation of projects that positively impact the sustainable development of the Center region.
