In the framework of deepening cooperation and coordination of activities for a balanced regional development, Mrs. Kreshnike Arifi, Head of the Division for Coordination of Regional Development, paid a visit to the Regional Development Agency East (RDA East), where she was welcomed by Mr. Agim Zeka, Director of RDA East.

During the meeting, the main topics related to the current activities and works of RDA East were discussed, including the resumption of cooperation with the European Union Office, as well as preparations for the establishment and reorganization of the Regional Development Agency in the Regional Development Centers (RDCs).

Particular attention was paid to the promotion of public calls of the Ministry of Regional Development (MRD), with a focus on the call for Sub-Measure 2.1, which aims at financial support of craft activities, which in this development region are on the verge of extinction.

Other issues related to regional development and inter-institutional coordination for the implementation of projects with wide impact in the East and South-East regions were also addressed during the meeting.
