On September 8, 2025, the second meeting of the Working Group for the drafting of the document on Access to EU Funds was held at the Ministry of Regional Development. At this meeting, the consolidated draft of the document was reviewed, which aims to define the mechanisms and procedures that will enable easier, transparent and efficient access to the funds offered by the European Union for Kosovo. This process constitutes an important step in strengthening the capacities of the MRD staff in utilizing these opportunities for regional development.

The document provides practical guidelines and clarifications on the most relevant EU funds for balanced regional and territorial development, including the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the Cohesion Fund (CF), the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), the Just Transition Fund (JTF), the REACT-EU programme and the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA III). The meeting was chaired by Mr. Arbnor Sadiku, Deputy Director of the DEIPC and was attended by Mrs. Kreshnike Arifi, Mr. Xhevat Sefaj, Mr. Kreshnik Uka, Mr. Memli Gashi and Mr. Ylber Salihu.
