On 15.09.2025, senior representatives from the MRD participated in the ceremony of starting works for the “Renovation of the Bus Station” Project in South Mitrovica.

The “Renovation of the Bus Station” Project is financed by the Ministry of Regional Development and co-financed by the Municipality of South Mitrovica. The project is expected to create a modern and functional station, which will significantly improve access, safety and quality of services, contributing to the urban and socio-economic development of the municipality of South Mitrovica.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister Mr. Ali Tafarshiku, Mayor of South Mitrovica Mr. Bedri Hamza, Acting Secretary General of the MRD Dr Refike Sülçevsi, Director of the DDCP Mr. Ylber Çitaku, Chief Executive and Board of the Bus Station, as well as other local representatives.
