From October 5 to 9, 2025, the Regional Development Agency North, with the support of the Ministry of Regional Development, organized in Mitrovica the Craft and Food Business Fair for women from the South Mitrovica region.

The aim of the fair was to support and economically empower women through:

- presentation of craft techniques and local products,

- exhibition of artisanal and food products,

- encouraging interaction between visitors, producers and institutions,

- promotion of participating local businesses.

The fair was held within the framework of the project "Promoting Balanced Regional Development through Economic and Community Activation in the North Region", implemented by RDA North with the support of the MRD.

In addition to representatives from RDA North, the opening of the fair was also attended by: Mr. Elvis Feka, Director of Economic Development in the Municipality of South Mitrovica and Mr. Shani Hamitaga, Head of the Division for Regional Initiatives in RDA, in the monitoring capacity.
